I always have travel on the brain.  

I was just reminiscing about my amazing trip to London in September on Blogtour London with Modenus. One of the many highlights was the last night dinner at Sanderson.  This hotel is off the hook!  I was taken the second I walked in the front door into the whimsical world of Phillipe Starke.  We retired to the Purple Bar for cocktails and treats hosted by Visa Luxury Hotel Collection. I was lucky enough to have been given a FABULOUS bottle of McCallan Amber. A treat to be sure.  As I was enveloped in a luxurious eggplant velvet and melted into the sultry banquettes I never wanted the moment to end. Luckily V of Modenus extended the night with a raucous final banquet for all. What a night to remember!

I highly recommend you hit the Sanderson on your next hop over the pond  (and take me with you, pretty please).

The Billiard Room at Sanderson London has a low-key clubby vibe and features an antique silver-leafed billiard table, whimsical, lodge-like antler furniture and original 1950s stained glass design by John Piper, one of the most noted British artists of the 20th Century.
