These free and low-cost tools let you take your digital photos to the next level.
The best camera is the one you have on you, and as a designer, I am constantly taking photos on my iPhone. It has become an integral tool in my design arsenal. I often then edit the images on my mobile device to use on social media such as Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. I also like to make notes for clients on the images as I send them.
These iPhone apps and tools make it so easy to take beautiful images and create original content – it’s like having a photo editing labs at our fingertips. While these are all iPhone apps; many come in versions for Android as well. And best of all, they’re all inexpensive or free so you can easily try them and decide what works for you.
Here are my personal favorites:
Quickly combine multiple photos into one beautifully framed picture. Pic Stitch packs a simple design with a powerful editor to give you everything you could possibly want to make your photo’s simply amazing. Share your masterpiece on your favorite social media networks including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Or order prints from your local Walgreens for in-store pickup.
