The Ultimate Summer Camp Packing List
I was an avid camper. I spent each summer as a child relishing my time at camp with my camp buddies. I attended both mountains and beach camps, Camp Greystone and Camp Seafarer.
My children have followed in my footsteps. They too LOVE camp. Here are few snaps from our drop off including the famous Greystone Scones.
I have already packed and sent one child to camp this summer. In putting together all the gear and following our camp packing lists I thought I should share additional items that we think are essential.
Lap Desk
Eno with straps
Friendship Bracelet kit or sting
Activity books / Doodle books
Lantern
Headlamp (for reading in your bunk)
Chacos
Paddle Ball
Musical Instrument
Mad Libs
Rashguard (easy sun protection)
Day tote / backpack
Camelbak
Music Speaker (if permitted)
Water Misting Fan
Sunscreen Sticks
Face Wash Cloths
Bedrest
Squishables
What “must haves” have I missed?
So jealous of this schedule. What fun!
Happy Camping.

Love your list!! My daughter attends Camp Skyline and is the highlight of her year. We will even be traveling from Germany to attend this year. One of the best suggestions we were given is a bath mat to keep next to her bed so she could wipe her feet before getting in to bed at night. Keeps all the sand and dirt out of her bed. Have a great summer!!

I love your blog! I look forward to reading it every day! What great ideas about packing for camp. My two boys go to camp Seagull where my husband went as a child. They are counting down the days until it is time to go. I am ordering the bed rest and music speaker today!

My super cute niece is a counselor there this summer (after years as a camper) tell your sweet camper to look out for her, Sarah Carter F.

Hi Holly! I was your co-counselor at Camp Seafarer in the mid-80s. Maybe cabin 36??? Kathryn H was in our cabin too. The other cabin counselor was Elizabeth. Fond memories!
My nephew has been going to Sea Gull for a few years now. I love hearing about all the changes and additions.
I adore your blog, and read it regularly. Great job, Holly!

Wow! So nice of you to comment. Katharine Hidell and I still see each other all the time. She owns a gallery in Charlotte. Hope you are doing well.
