Textile Tuesday with Marcus William
Happy Textile Tuesday!
Have you seen my latest crush?
I have found some fabulous upholstery fabrics from Marcus William. This brand is represented by Stout in the US. I turn to them for clients and this time for myself. I am planning a new room in my mountain cottage. We have moved the sectional from the back room to the small living room. We have added a tv in that room as well to have a second tv area. We watch tv and often when everyone is home we have sports in one room and Netflix in another.
The sectional and oversized modern wing chair have been in our family room for over 10 years and needed a big makeover before they make the move to the living room. I knew I wanted to play up the colors if summer in Linville. I decided on a stunning Lime green velvet with a beautiful sheen and soft hand. It is also super durable.
Letino in Lime… it also comes in 42 other gorgeous colors.
Frodo in Rosewood was my selection of the chair. This fabric is a true beauty! It also comes in 9 colors.
I love the evergreen too.
Another fabric that I really want to use somewhere is this faux bois velvet, Recline. It is available in 13 colors. These are my 2 favorites.
I have finally have my plan together with the William Marcus fabric taking the heavy lifting as the strong yet luxurious upholstery pieces.
Here is the plan for the room…it is going to be wild and wonderful.
I promise to share photos when it is done.
