Textile Tuesday: Mandevilla by F. Schumacher
Happy Textile Tuesday!
I have a pretty treat for you today from F. Schumacher.
Inspired by a fabric in our archive, Mandevilla Embroidery in document is a large-scale allover tree of life pattern stitched on a cotton-linen ground. This gorgeous scrolling floral owes its wonderful depth and dimension to melange yarns, which are used in a variety of crewel techniques. The stylized blooms each have unique patterning, giving this familiar motif a versatile, modern look. Use this loose, lively fabric design for windows, upholstery and pillows.
Isn’t it lovely!
