Tea with India Hicks at The English Room
I had the pleasure of hosting a Tea honoring India Hicks in my shop this week.
Peachy Magazine put together the event and I was honored to be a part of it.
It was a wonderful experience to spend some time with India and be introduced to her new line. This product line is different than others in the past. It is a direct sales line sold exclusively through her website and sales reps. The tea was to open up the opportunity to reps and share the message of the brand.
I was truly moved by India’s mission to be a women empowering women. She is building a supportive team of women. This brand speaks to the everyday women as it is luxurious yet approachable. It reflects the lifestyle of real people not the royal upbringing that was afforded to her. India is real. She has chosen a different path in her life to raise 5 children on a remote island in the Bahamas. The passion and drive that India feels for this brand is palpable.
The shop set for the english tea complete with scones, clotted cream and antique teacups.
Flowers on a gray day.
The beetle motif is a nod to the Harbour Island frequent visitor.
The supple leather clutches were a huge hit.
India sharing her inspiring message.
Reminder: do not have your picture taken with a model.
Of course, I did some retail therapy damage with scarves a beetle bag and the lovely new jewels. You can order HERE or enquire about becoming a Style Ambassador HERE.
Harbour Island here I come. This trip has been on my list but it is moving up fast! Savannah the home designed by David Hicks on Windermere Island is another island jaunt I must accomplish.
Thank you to Peachy for putting this party together.
I am moved by India’s message and thought this was apropos.
