I have had a great start to the new year with my family, a roaring fire, long walks with my dogs and plenty of internet research.

I have hardly taken off my new boots my sister gave me for my christmas/birthday! 

I have had a grand time finding some INCREDiBLE original art finds on Chairish and some other great furniture and lighting on sale this month. January is historically a  GREAT time to buy interior related items at a discount. I cannot stop thinking about this vintage painting for 1968 titled “Summer.” 

There are quite a few fun fashion finds too. I have been dying for this Gucci skirt but, it exceeds the amount I am willing to spend.  

But this one for under $50 will certainly fit the bill!

I annually make all my doctors appointments this month too.  Off to the eye doctor ASAP.  These eyes are going on me… I plan on upping my prescription on my favorite SUPER Ciccio glasses.  Maybe adding a new color too. I have red (shown below via J. Crew) and blue. Maybe the whiskey tortoise is next…I order the frames and take them to have the prescription put in. 

Enjoy these last days before back to school, work and the real world.
