The BEFORE (equally beautiful home of my parents):
Things I would still like to do…there is always more…
- I would like to recover the white chair seats in the Clarence House fabrics.
- I also would like to take out the grill. I need an idea of what to do in that space. Thoughts? I do not need another bar…do I just fill with firewood?
- Cushions for the chairs at the backgammon table or even parsons upholstery chairs
- Ceiling wallpaper…I cannot find one that is just right.
Are you not familiar with crazy 6 weeks?
The One Room Challenge™, currently in its thirteenth season, is a widely anticipated biannual event every April and October. Each round, twenty design bloggers take the challenge and transform a space. Every Wednesday, the designers document their process while sharing their sources and professional advice over the six weekly posts.

WOW! I’m blown away by how rich and layered this space is in color. I’m so scared of color in my own home but I absolutely love seeing people play with color so beautifully! I like that you kept the natural wood beams that I think make the unique artwork pop. What a beauty!
