One Room Challenge Spring 2015: Week 3
I must admit I am off my game this week. The Ping Pong Emporium AKA. ORC has taken a backseat to another project but, just for this week. I have been installing and doing the shoot for my High Point Junior League / Traditional Home Showhouse.
It has been a bit nuts but, decisions are still being made for the ORC.
Painting is starting today and my house in a total state of disarray.. Also, about 1/2 of my personal art in in the showhouse. Here is my chaos…

A few decisions accomplished are:
Lighting-I need more light and overhead is my only option as I am taking away many tables. The black walls will also require more light. I decided on the bold and big Serge Mouille Three Arm- Rotating Ceiling Fixture. I am slightly concerned about my ceiling height but decided to go for it. I found a great version at Wayfair at a great price. They just have about everything!

Curtains:
For the windows I decided to go more understated. Do not worry. I will have plenty of WOW!. I am using curtains from Loom Decor. This was a great quick option. Loom is an online source of which to become acquainted. Shop and customize everything from custom window treatments to bedding to pillows available in over 400 decorative fabrics…all with the click of a mouse. I do love shopping from my armchair.
Fabric Detail:
It has a slight gold chevron.
I added a few Loom Decor accessories so I can set my table to be a chic dining table too.
Simple Napkins in H2OMG…adorable!
More Accessories from Mark and Graham too. I know I need a Lucite bar tray,
and some monogrammed coasters.
I am very excited about these Studio A quirky Hands Stool too.

This room is an inspiration to me with the black white animal print and color pops.
I am just digging black walls!
