One Room Challenge Fall 2016: Week 2
The Room:
See last weeks’ One Room Challenge kickoff HERE to see all the before images of my new office.
The Progress:
Work has started in my new office. YAY!
The room has been cleaned out. Lots of decisions have been made and a plan has formed.
The plaster has been repaired which it desperately needed.
Carpet has been removed…don’t worry I will be back in a newer form.
The Inspiration:
I want my office to have multiple work spaces. I would like the traditional desk area, a seating area where I can sit and talk with clients (or nap) and an area where I can lay out samples or plans. Art space is important for me as I am a collector (hoarder) of art. It needs to be colorful, layered and fun! Oh, and have ample storage too.
Here are some favorite office spaces:
The Plan:
Not all of the decisions have been made but I am headed down the road to a fabulous new space. The walls will be Wimborne White to be a clean backdrop to all the fun art. The trim and cabinets will be Hague Blue to create some weight and depth as well as visual framing.

I don’t know what I’m more obsessed with – the pink sofa (be still, my pink-loving heart!) or that lush blue velvet chair! XO

Love how bright your design is. Also, Hague Blue is one of my favorite colors. It’s gonna look great!

The inspiration images are different but all very similar, and I think you’ve combined the best elements for this space! Can’t wait to watch it unfold!

Holly, your layering of color and pattern are always spot-on. Can’t wait to be jealous of this space.

This is going to be amazing! And I love that you’re using those chairs in the navy…I was so impressed with the quality and the fabric is so soft. It’s so nice when things look just as good if not better than they do online! 😉
Tricia @ Suburban B's
I love this bright, fun, uplifting design! It’s going to be such an amazing space to be creative in! And those chairs – LOVE!
