Last week I took a jaunt to Millbrook, NY to visit my cousin-in-law, Ashley Whittaker. She was the ultimate hostess.

We visited exquisite homes of designer friends with The Decorators Club and shopped the best antiques in the area with Hudson being a favorite stop. 

Katie Ridder & Peter Pennoyer’s home is beyond magical as documented and featured in their book, A House in the Country.

I must say seeing it in person really took my admiration for this talented duo to the next level. The home is full of numerous architectural details.  Katie’s eye for mixing color and pattern in unmatched. Each accessory was special and collected.  

This is the ultimate layered perfection in design and a few shots I captured to share the beauty.
