Metrolina Antique Expo Madness
It was a busy Saturday! We hit the Metrolina Expo Antiques Spring Spectacular. My children and the husbands recent addiction to American Pickers on The History Channel made them want to come along. It was at times challenging as they looked at absolute crap but, we all had a great day. Here are a few highlights.
This set of antique antler furniture was AMAZING with its inlaid stones and extensive provenance.
I fell hard for these sterling over brass huge dragon candlesticks. Going back to get them in the am. They were haunting me.
A cool face jug that I would love in Linville.
Vintage German abstract painting from the 60's.
A beaded table from Cameroon. This dealer was such a kind soul.
Hilarious face jug.
Vintage leopard love…
Gigi was obsessed with the small terrariums from Gypsy Raku. I promised one in her future. You can buy from them on Etsy.
Gigi and Bo had their first funnel cake…but you see who is eating it..
Oh…the many distractions…
This little wicker number was cool for 30 bones.
creepy cool…
I took a pic of this for my mother who has a Burlon Craig face jug collection.
This trailer and the owner were precious. She had a traveling shop of cute clothes and accessories. Check out THE GO GIRL SHOPPE on ETSY.
colorful vintage spools…
a great find that I hope is there when I go back…
I could not resist this boar tusk with lion head mounts. it is so Diana Vreeland.
I really wanted these black lacquer chairs, set of 6, that were being auctioned at 4pm. I could not hand that long. Troops were too tired.
What were your weekend finds?
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

Love the trailer. I'll have to get my kids onto that show so they will come with during market/tag sale season. Great idea!
