An old friend asked about a good tree skirt at our annual High School Girls lunch every December 26th…forever.

of course she sent me shopping…. Love this simple and chic tree skirt on super sale.

This basket apron tree skirt  is really cool too…major sale too. I am ordering both.  I’m a 2 tree gal.

We headed to our Mountain house in Linville, NC for the week.  The Thibaut grasscloth had been installed for the #styleitchallenge with Taylor Burke Home, One Kings Lane and Cotton ad Quill. It is gonna be so good.  I ADORE the grasscloth.

I had the best Christmas and birthday.  I was so moved by the lovely gifts from family and friends…as said before on INSTA…The sheer inappropriateness of many of my favorite gifts make me know that these people really love me and know me! I am so blessed. #blessed #grateful #spoiled

Oddly, I only seem to cook at our vacation house.  I plan to make SLOW COOKER TOMATO BASIL PARMESAN SOUP

and this…WINTER BOURBON SMASH. I am into liquid nourishment these days.
