I am such a longtime fan for a few fab favorites. Recently my adoration grew exponentially!

Grandin Road has announced their collaboration with style icon Iris Apfel.  Of course you know I adore all things Iris Apfel but, this collection is pure perfection.  

Let me show you my favorites in my new home and my office. I am clearly a sucker for whimsy, rattan and cute critters..just like my idol Iris! 

IRIS APFEL RATTAN MONKEY – Our Iris Apfel Rattan Monkeys sees no evil, and sees no one he doesn’t like. With a body handwoven of natural-colored water hyacinth, he has a charming gold-accented woven fiber face, as well as gold-accented hands and feet. His hands are positioned to hold a small bowl (not included). A unique conversation piece, and a fun “greeter’ for an entryway.

IRIS APFEL RATTAN ELEPHANT CONSOLE TABLE – “I buy what makes me happy,” says interior designer and fashion icon Iris Apfel, and our Iris Apfel Rattan Elephant Console Table from our exclusive Iris Apfel capsule collection is ready for your happy hour. Expertly handwoven, it was inspired by vintage Italian mid-century designs which had been inspired by Indian art and culture, where elephant symbolism has had a long history. Hidden shelving in the side to hold smaller items. The wicker tabletop has an acrylic overlay, keeping glasses and delicate items in place. Use the base as a shelf, too.

IRIS APFEL RATTAN MOBILE CART – “My mother was a big influence; she was exceedingly chic,” said interior designer and fashion icon Iris Apfel, whose exclusive, handmade Iris Apfel Rattan Mobile Bar Cart exhibits its own retro-chicness like a 1960s mid-century Palm Beach find. In a natural color, it’s from our Iris Apfel Capsule collection. This two-tier rolling cart offers generous space for barware and snacks and holders for bottles; it moves easily on caster wheels.

 

IRIS APFEL OSTRICH SERVING PLATTER – “Anything feathery-looking, I love,” said interior designer and style icon Iris Apfel, and we can see why when we see this elegantly whimsical 100% earthenware Iris Apfel Ostrich Serving Platter, a grandinroad exclusive design for our Iris Apfel capsule collection. The playful illustration of a ready-to-party ostrich is updated with another Iris quote: “More is more, less is a bore.” We love this instant party centerpiece. Your guests will too.

IRIS APFEL ZEBRA SHAPED PILLOW – “I don’t expect to find inspiration, it just sort of comes,” said interior designer and fashion icon Iris Apfel, and the Iris Apfel Zebra Shaped Pillow is so much fun, we’re glad the inspiration was there. Each one is unique because it’s handmade. Digital printed cushion cover; black stripes of the body are manually done with crewel embroidery. The mane and tail are created with handmade tassels.
