DIXIE DESIGN COLLECTIVE, A PURVEYOR OF HAND-DESIGNED PAPER GOODS, INTRODUCES THEIR 2018 HOLIDAY COLLECTION
Over 2 billion holiday cards are sent out in the U.S. every year, with a majority of those cards being mass-produced, generic options seen year after year. However, beloved paper goods company, Dixie Design Collective, has set out to change that yet again with the introduction of a holiday collection that is filled with a variety of designs that were thoughtfully created by hand by real artists.
Dixie’s holiday goods reflect exactly what the season should be – special.
Founded in 2015 by Jennifer Hunt, Dixie Design Collective is an online purveyor of hand-designed, ready-made cards that are unique and lively in spirit, matching the personality of Hunt’schildhood Boston Terrier after which the company was named. As a busy mother of two, an accountant, and an art dealer, Jennifer found that she was often short on time to source and book an artist to create the hand-lettered holiday cards that she desired. She would turn to the internet to find that none of the online options offered customizable calligraphy and art-driven holiday stationery. Thus, she set out to create a solution herself, marking the start of Dixie Design Collective. Dixie offers hand-made cards that are thoughtfully and gorgeously created by real artists. The artists apply their talents and skilled eye to fashioning paper goods that have the look and feel of custom cards, without the added wait time and expense. Dixie’s collection, which includes wedding suites, birth and moving announcements, seasonal collections, invitations, stationery pieces and more, has options that will speak to every personality and cater to any special moment in life.
Dixie Design Collective’s 2018 Holiday Collection will align with the brand’s mission of offering design driven cards that inspire. With over 100 different suites and hundreds of designs, Dixie’sholiday collection will include both digitally printed and photo mount cards, invitations, stationery, gift tags, and more with hand-designed artwork from both veteran Dixie artists and new artists for this year, which includes Inslee Farris and Evelyn Henson. Dixie has collaborated with these artists to create designs that speak to every person’s personality. From holiday- themed animals to traditional garland and bows, the thoughtfully-created options are available at various price points based on size and quantity. As with all Dixie cards, the holiday offerings will be printed on a thick, luxurious creamy white paper with a slight texture that further enhances the art and gives the card a custom look. The designs are be available to browse, easily personalize with a photo and message, instantly proof, and order with the guarantee of a turnaround time of 7 – 10 business days.
