High Point Market Favorites from Design Bloggers Tour
As you know I had the pleasure of being selected for the Design Bloggers Tour for High Point Market with Esteem Media for a second time last week.
It was incredible three days filled with vendors, furniture, friends, fellowship and more.
I was introduced to new brands as well as, have opportunity to visit with brands that are long-time favorites.
The trends certainly were present. I want to share with you a few favorites from each vendor we visited on the tour.
I loved the tufting on the seat cushions of this sectional as well as the furry ottomans.
The acrylic pieces are abundant and certainly still on trend.
I am always looking for a great oval dining table.
The brass barstools were chic and simple as they should be.
These modern rustic storage pieces are a great price point with loads of style.
I never tire of the beauty of Bernhardt and their acrylic bed.
This dining table has a lovely base.
Embossed metal adds a touch a glam.
Crypto was ever present at this market. The brand seems to be exploding! They are in almost all upholstery showrooms. People want easy and durable in their lives and Crypton does just that.
You can have a white sofa with kids and dogs. Amen!
The innovative styles of chairs impressed as well as the extensive use of crypto as well as fun modern textiles.
Loving this shape..
and loving this velvet fabric on this modern frame…
I loved getting to know Harp & Finial. This young brand has stellar designs at great price points. The lamps are just the starting point for a full line of furniture and accessories.
I need this money man to hold my kitchen fruit to be sure.
Media cabinets are a constant need and this one is a winner.
What a treat to meet David Hobbs and the passion behind his project. A unique and imaginative collection of freestanding sliding drawer storage cabinets, coffee and lamp tables, with original wooden wine boxes from the famous Bordeaux Chateaux, the most prestigious vineyards in France.
Kenian Furniture is the perfect addition to my Palm Beach Regency style love. I am loving their bamboo pieces and may just need that hall tree for myself.
Norwalk was kind enough to share loads of Cryton options with their extensive outdoor range. Their upholstery has great lines and wonderful inspiration behind each vignette,
This swivel was insanely comfortable and well styled with the double nailhead detail.
I am on a rug obsession as of late…
I cannot seem to resist any hide rugs. Combine that with metallics and studs… swoon!
The Sari silk / wool irate collection has me wanting moe as well. I am ready to spec these in clients homes today!
Rowe wowed me with the size and expanse of their line. The organic nature of this area speaks to the modern lines yet plush and comfortable.
The graphic nature of this print with the bold chrome frame are perfection!
Back & white is trending to be sure. I have a hard time resisting an upholstered bed.
Sauder stepped out of the box with their new boutique line “New Prairie” . I am smitten with the matte black and brass elements that are so modern.
This bar cart with a removable copper tray is just divine…
Sauder’s price point is hard to believe! Love this Indian inspired pointed piece.
Michael Berman’s new collection for Theodore Alexander was the bomb. He has thought outside the box. I am particularly fond of his convex lights that diffuse soft light throughout a space.
This seating area made me want to plop down and stay all day. The coffee tables the move around are so multi functional.
Modern dining yet still welcoming.
Universal was new to me. This giant powerhouse provides furniture for many familiar catalogs and online stores. They have a huge presence that is often private labeled.
The quatrefoil bedside table and moroccan table are fun finds…
The beds were plentiful and as were loads of great staples with style.
I have long loved Vanguard. They have a HUGE yet expertly designed line that truly has it all. I am loving their new cocktail table collection seen below.
The custom chest collection with various overlay, frame, drawer configuration and hardware and more are incredible! There are 55, 000, 000 combinations. There is something for even the most particular client.
I am loving this large square customizable cocktail table/ottoman with the removable tray. There is so much more Vanguard I plan to share.
Vaughan-Bassett had such a fun and interesting story. There furniture business story was penned to create the novel The Factory Man. It is becoming a HBO movie played by Tom Hanks. Who knew the furniture industry has such intrigue and scandal?
Their new Artisan & Post collection provides serious customization options at unreal pricing. These would be great for first apartments, children and vacation homes.
I could see this in a casual beach setting…
