Help for Superstorm Sandy Victims

My heart goes out to all the victims of Superstorm Sandy. The devastation it has brought is overwhelming.

I want to share a wonderful post by my friend Lisa Mende did on ways to help the storm victims. I am attaching it HERE.

Here are her links of ways to help…some as easy as a quick text message.

1) Donate to the Red Cross

Call 1 800 Red Cross or text the word

"Redcross" to 90999 to make a $10 donation

2) Other places to call and make donations:

www.americacares.org – medicine & supplies

www.worldvision.org – food clean up kits,

personal hygiene & food kits

www.savethechildren.org – relief for families w/kids

www.samatarianspurse.org – volunteers to help clean up

3) Blood supplies are low since nearly 100

Red Cross blood drives were canceled due to Sandy,

so if you are in the New York/New Jersey area,

call 1 800 933-2566 to donate.
