Happy Haitian Paintings
You may remember from my Instagram that I purchased a Haitian painting from C. Bell, one of my favorite shops on Antique Row / Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.
In my true shopaholic form, I quickly became obsessed. I have now purchased another precious painting from Etsy. These colorful paintings are filled with tight patterns that I just love. They are perfect in playrooms and kids spaces.
Haitian art is a complex tradition, reflecting African roots with strong Indigenous American and European aesthetic and religious influences. It is an important representation of Haitian culture and history.
I have curated a collection a great ones that are also available on Etsy for purchase.
Also do not forget about my GIVEAWAY from yesterday’s post. It is an easy enter to win a $500 gift card.
I would like to ask a favor, please vote for me DAILY until March 15th in the Trad Home search for the “New Trads Rising Stars in Design.“
