Gracious Gessi on Blogtour Milan
I had to pleasure of getting to know our Blogtour Milan sponsor Gessi intimately on the jaunt to Italy. I was very familiar with the brand but was unaware of the quality and drive behind this brand. Gessi takes and ordinary object and makes it to extraordinary. The faucets are more akin to well crafted jewels than plumbing fixtures. We were lulled into avid dedication with two very lovely tours. I cannot say enough about the kindness and hospitality extended to our group by this gracious company.
Here are some new products of note:
Elegance is beauty in itself. It is perfection that stands out above everything else, that conquers, fascinates and seduces, satisfies and uplifts the spirit.
Gessi embraces the essential need for beauty and style in everyday life with the cre- ation of Eleganza, a refined total look Collection for the bathroom.
If elegance is made of refined details im- mediately identifiable, the design of Eleganza, as a rare perfume, captures all these traits in essence: it is style, awareness, measure, a balanced blend of good taste and distinctive design, care for quality and meticulous attention to every detail. Elegance speaks of class with the contemporary and minimalist language of Gessi, creating a timeless aesthetic that can be harmoniously enjoyed in traditional or contemporary environments.
A special touch of elegance makes existence more enjoyable and much more beautiful.
Gessi’s commitment to creative experimentation and innovation once again manifested itself in the creation of sensational Cono for the total look of the bathroom. Its unique, graceful and edgy profile entitles the new creation to become a new design icon.
This Collection mixes organic and geometric design creating a “fusion” between quiet and graceful Eastern shapes inspired to nature and the contemporary edge of Western flair.
Our trip to the Milan showroom was a treat that transported you to another place. It feels like a world class spa.
When talented designers are let loose to virtually travel the world, the results can amaze, as Gessi’s exhibition Bathrooms of the World proves. At Gessi Milano, the company’s new Concept Lab and showroom in Milan’s Fashion District, this Moroccan bath was inspired by the colors and perfumes of Marrakech, the ancient imperial city. Inlaid marble and water jet machined Ocean Gray stone are at home with modern Rettangolo fixtures in an exotic retreat.
Here are some snaps from the visit to the Gessi booth at Salone. Our tour guide Luca was the most welcoming of hosts…

The tour even included a dip in the tup with a very friendly Italian gent for Pamela Copeman!
