I just read the May 2012 Elle Decor. I am sharing a few favorites finds…

I cannot wait to pop in Illume when I am in New York in May for Blogfest 2012.  I love custom shades. This will be a treat. I can already tell from the leopard in the window…always a good sign.

I am dying for on of these oh so chic beach towels by Maslin and Co.

One certainly needs a leather carrier for ones towel.  

How fun are all the patterns?

The Lacquer Company has teamed up with Steven Gambrel and Rita Konig to create some great new lacquer pieces for your home.

Rita Konig's Belle Rives cocktail table is terrific.  

Look at the sheen on that lacquer. Divine!

The gray is great too with the chrome.

I love the "Birds" feature too. My favorites include hand Painted Cockatoos by John Robshaw 

 and Zoffany "Snow Blossom". I would be so fab in a dining room or entrance hall.
