Crosby Street Hotel and other NYC Adventures…
I am a long time fan of designer Kit Kemp and her hotel design. We often used to stay at Number Sixteen on buying trips for the shop in the UK.
Last week, while in NYC I attended a lovely tea hosted by Urban Electric Co. It was at the oh so chic Crosby Street Hotel.
I must share this jewel box in the heart of Soho. Believe me I will be making a reservation to stay at the gem upon a return trip. It is just round the corner from Baltazar. Heavenly, I do say.
Notice the work of my favorite Peter Clark.
The back of many chairs have appliquéd animals on deleted wool. Such a fun touch.
The drawing room is divine.
a lovely terrace
and a screening room
The tea and the chatter were perfection.
Here we are at tea. Thank you again Ellen and Tommy!
Afterwards we headed to the Christopher Spitzmiller opening party for his showroom in the D & D. I covet these.
His table top was debuted as well.
It was wall to wall people. Pictures were hard!
To ease your hectic holiday I have curated a creative collection of gift guides you can shop directly from my website home page.
