What is your training?
I studied Art History at UNC Chapel Hill and learned the rest by doing
What inspires you and your designs?
Classical Motifs in architecture, tapestries, and decorative arts

How has the your area influenced your work?
My work is literally the outgrowth of Magnolia trees. Magnolias are indigenous here. I started the farm with one magnolia tree which was my grandmother’s and to date there’s over 10,000 trees in the ground for use in our wreaths and garlands
What is your favorite restaurant in your area?
Barcelona—They have the best outdoor seating in Raleigh
What is your favorite cocktail?
How do you balance personal life and work?
I don’t.
