Brett Heyman’s Upper East Side Apartment via Vogue
I am in love with Brett Hayman’s apartment featured in Vogue. All the color and great art speaks to me. I was just coveting her FABULOUS bags, Edie Parker, at Bergdorf’s this weekend.
Edie Parker founder and creative director Brett Heyman and her husband were newly married when they first saw this apartment on the Upper East Side. “My husband’s friend grew up in the building, and my husband used to pick him up every morning all throughout grade school to wait for the school bus, ” she says. “We weren’t looking to move, but when we heard this was for sale we jumped at the opportunity.” The apartment, which benefits from the light provided by mostly south-facing windows, gives off a happy vibe that was desired by Brett and her husband, who now have two kids, Edie and Oscar. It also had another thing going for it: It is located on the thirteenth floor, a rarity in superstitious New York City. “In my family, it’s a lucky number as both my father and brother were born on the thirteenth, ” Brett Heyman says.
