I always love a good back to school blog, but this year, I’m more excited than ever because I have my very own dorm collection with LeighDeux.

If you don’t know this company… please let me make the intro: Luxury dorm and home bedding, original textiles, (read designer quality), made in America and milled in the Carolinas. Female owned and operated and a percentage of every sale funds scholarships for young women pursuing entrepreneurship! This company literally checks every box of cool and I’m super excited to be collaborating with them.

When Leigh Goodwyn, founder of LeighDeux, approached me about designing a collection together, I said yes, yes, yes! I have always admired their style… love their big color, and have enjoyed watching this company evolve. They have looks for every design taste: preppy, boho, and now with our Bright Eyes and Bushy Tails collection… trendy fashion!

Their signature pillow headboards are the bomb! Awesome fabrics and tons of color ways to choose from. It makes your dorm bed, literally. And the gorgeous duvets have coordinating shams and extra long bed skirts. This line will wash and dry perfectly, will not fade and dries wrinkle free. What? The quality is so amazing. It’s going to last well past your freshman year. No brainer. Sign. Me. Up!

There are a tons of throw pillow options, Euros, floor pillows, towels, blankets, shower curtains, lamps, and cube seating. It’s one-stop shopping for the best in dorm room decor. They set the bar high and nobody in this category even comes close! Plus when I had to have a little pop of Cheetah print (see Tanzania and my fav icon, Iris), LeighDeux said bring it on! You gotta love a company who lets the creative juices flow!

The big box stores continue to peddle an array of cheap dorm bedding in tired shades of grey, but LeighDeux steps it up with looks that are so high end you’ll want them at home too.

So you may think the line is custom and takes 6-8 weeks to deliver. Not the case. While there are limited quantities, they are stocked and inventoried. But don’t wait too long… you gotta have it for move-in day!
