Aspen on the horizon….Hotel Jerome Renovation
We head west Saturday for a week in Aspen for Spring Break. I am so excited for a visit to one of my very favorite places on this earth. Hotel Jerome, Circa 1889, is a classic Aspen haunt and regular spot when we visit without children. The J bar is a terrific low key spot for casual burger, libations and top notch people watching.
The Jerome has always had very Victorian decor in keeping with the gold rush era town. This year Auberge Resorts did a fantastic renovation that updated the space to the modern era with a nod to the past it just looks perfect. Watch the video of designer, Todd-Avery Lenahan, share his newly designed space. He really shared his passion for the craft and preservation of the great American landmark making it "the quintessential Aspen experience."
I so look forward to our visit this week.
J Bar apres ski anyone?

Holly, back to you with great minds thinking alike. Your post is beautiful, as are all your posts, and I'm a teeny weeny bit jealous that you are just going and I have already left. Have a great trip! If your readers are interested, there's a little more on the Jerome at http://www.FrancesSchultz.com/7512.

This hotel looks amazing! I’ve always wanted to go to Colorado, so I seriously considered a small wedding here. Alas, we are getting married else where but this is still on my radar.
