Stephen Wilson‘s latest show, Modularity, is currently on view at New Gallery of Modern Art in Charlotte. It is a feast for the eyes.

Wilson’s newest exhibition breaks down his established technique of thread and fabric mosaics into individual studies of color, material and abstraction.

In MODULARITY Wilson challenges the notion of a singular artistic narrative, exploring the flexibility of breaking down a system’s components to create reconfigurable independence.

I adore that Stephen creates unusual pieces from such a different medium.
