Art Love: Holly Coulis

Happy Art Love Monday!

I saw that Soco Gallery in Charlotte is having a new show of an artist I have long admired, Holly Coulis. I am mesmerized by her abstracted still life pieces in bold colors.

Holly Coulis (b. 1968, Toronto, Canada) holds an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and a BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at Philip Martin Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, New York, NY; Simon Lee Gallery, London; as well as Cooper Cole Gallery, Toronto, and Cherry and Martin Gallery, Los Angeles. Group exhibitions include Longhouse Projects, New York, Bravin Lee Projects, New York and Galleria d’Art Moderna, Milan, Italy among others. Coulis lives and works in Athens, Georgia.
