A Perfect Painkiller
I am currently returning from a wonderful week of fun in the sun in celebration of my husband’s birthday. We cruised the islands for the best cocktails and conch fritters from the BVI’s through the USVI’s.
The Soggy Dollar Bar “Painkiller” was certainly worth all the wet Washington’s.
Why not treat yourself and your family to a batch of these tropical treats this holiday season? Somehow, the nutmeg makes this seem like the perfect Christmas cocktail.
Soggy Dollar Pain Killer Recipe:
- 2 oz dark rum (I prefer Cruzan or Pusser’s for authenticity)
- 1 oz cream of coconut
- 4 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz orange juice
Mixing Instructions:
Add all the ingredients to mixing glass. Shake well. Pour into glass with ice. Grate fresh nutmeg over the top. Raise glass and toast.
