Textile Tuesday: Patti by Pierre Frey

Happy Textile Tuesday!

I am sharing a recent Pierre Frey collection, Fantasy, as it embodies the elegance of the 50’s and yje free spirit of the 70’s.

The eclecticism of the weaves and embroideries creates a sense of fantasy, where shapes and colours come to life in a subtle play of vibrations.

This abstract painting, Patti, with its geometric shapes in the spirit of modernist interiors, is embroidered in chain stitch on a linen blend. The rectangles create a captivating backdrop of shimmering colours, with orange-reds and pale pinks blending harmoniously with soft blue-greens.
