Tuesday Thoughts
This is a random assortment of things that are making me happy today… very random in fact.
The first big news is the Buru Bus is stopping in Charlotte again on Thursday.
Please pop in the English Room for some shopping. I already have my list ready.
Gray Malin just released his latest photography series that actually made me LOL…for realz.
How precious are they?
Icelandic Horses – Working with a local farmer, a celebrity hairstylist and various playful wigs, Gray ventured to Southwestern Iceland to capture unexpected portraits of the native horses. This series celebrates the beauty of the equine through Gray’s playful lens.
Away Luggage, which happens to be the very best luggage ever is launching a collaboration with Flour Shop in candy color brights. We already have 5 in our household. The bigger carry on is truly the best bag I have ever owned. I may go for a big orange and a purple medium.

Dying over the Veranda Magazine Scarf!
This isn’t your average fairy tale — but it’s just as enchanting. Virginia-based illustrator Stephanie Fishwick imagined a grasshopper’s fantastical jaunt through a forest for this original scarf design, which juxtaposes classic wilderness beauty with curious discoveries like mollusks, moths, and snail shells. “These are creatures not typically heralded as beautiful,” notes the artist, whose fanciful designs also appear in upcoming tableware and linen collections for Moda Operandi in collaboration with Royal Limoges.
I think THESE lamps are so chic!
