I have always loved sporting art. I have collected antique dog paintings since I was a young child.  Each buying trip for my mothers shop, The English Room, I would get a painting.  By the time I had my own apartment and was out of college I had a huge collection.  

Today they are all hung together and bring great joy.

Here are a few images that always inspire from the work of Mario Buatta and Brooke Astor’s apartment. 

An upcoming Doyle’s sale has piqued my attention.  This sale full of amazing artists like John Emms, Herring Sr., and Arthur Wardle.
