I have long been a BIG fan of Dorothy Shain. I featured her here in my Artist Spotlight Series a little over 2 years ago.

This vibrant young talent has grown artistically with her many original series. I am totally smitten with the current show “Nassau in Bloom” on display at the Greenville Center for the Creative Arts until July 26th.  This collection screams tropics, color and nods to the great Matisse with these bold cut outs.

 I am moving mentally moving around art to make room for one of these inspiring beauties
