Travel fulfills me to no end.

There is a whole world to explore and want to see it all. While my quest is broad, there are certain spots I must return to over and over. Nantucket is one of those places. It has engrained itself deep in my soul and I long to return each season for the distinct island experience like no other.

A new hotel has captured my attention for summer 2017.

 Set in Nantucket’s downtown historic district, Greydon House showcases 20 uniquely appointed guestrooms and a locally­inspired restaurant embracing the past of this storied island. With interiors concepted by celebrated design team Roman and Williams, Greydon House weaves the warmth of a village inn with the luxury relevance for today’s generation of world traveler.

Designed by Roman and Williams in collaboration with architect Matthew MacEachern of the firm Emeritus, Greydon House comprises a historic structure and a new addition

The lobby bar features a custom-designed mural that bears a scene of a Chinese merchant port.

Nautical artworks and upholstered seating in a flame-stitch print distinguish the library.

Roman and Williams designed the guest rooms’ bespoke beds.

All rooms feature bespoke furnishings designed by Roman & Williams, reclaimed chestnut floors and John Robshaw and Les Indiennes bed linens. The bathrooms have hand-painted tile walk-in showers, Waterworks fixtures and are stocked with hair and body care products from our favorite brands. Rooms are also appointed with 4K TVs and a Bose Bluetooth speaker for you to enjoy in your room or at the beach.
