In reviewing my High Point Market pictures I realized I never shared one of my very favorite discoveries. Hable for Hickory Chair was a true highlight. The designs are modern and updated yet totally original.

Inspired by Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian design, world history, travel, contemporary art, and textiles; the Hable for Hickory Chair furniture collection combines form, texture, and color into one harmonious grouping that brings a fresh dimension to the extensive brand offering. Hickory Chair’s collaboration with Susan and Kate Hable began in 2011 when the industry’s first exclusive fabric collection, Hable Construction for Hickory Chair, was introduced. An exclusive throw pillow collection followed in 2013. The Hable for Hickory Chair furniture collection is a visionary relation between form and texture. Touch, patina, color, contemporary living, and practicality are all expressed by elegant lines and combinations of materials. Refined, elegant lines catch the eye, leading to unexpected pairings and playing with possibility.
