Uprise Art on One Kings Lane
The art addiction continues.
I am seriously loving the Uprise Art Sale on One Kings Lane.
These are all originals…bonus but, shop fast friends.
Conceived for the next generation of art collectors, Uprise Art is an online gallery with a curated selection of original contemporary art. The works are hand-picked by experts and showcase a wide variety of mediums, including photography, oil painting, sculpture, and mixed media works. Founded by Tze Chun, Uprise Art aims to make collecting easy and accessible, and to support the best up-and-coming artists today.
Here are the two artists that have me mesmerized from this sale.
One Kings Lane exclusive: An original oil painting on canvas by Canadian-based artist Zoe Pawlak, who draws inspiration from natural landscapes to create her atmospheric abstractions. Pawlak’s bold, refined paintings instantly become the focal point of any space.
Pawlak received her BFA from NSCAD University and studied painting at both Montreal’s Concordia University and the Universidad de Las Americas in Cholula, Mexico. Her work has been exhibited internationally and through Uprise Art Gallery in New York City.
An original collage by Chicago-based multi-media artist Chad Kouri, created exclusively for One Kings Lane. Using vintage and found paper, Kouri creates colorful and texturally rich studies of forms and shapes with a light-hearted feel. Inspiration stems from the artist’s work as a graphic designer and his experience with sculpture, print, music, and publications. Kouri currently works with The Post Family, Chicago’s first art and design incubator, and “The Visualist, ” Chicago’s visual arts calendar.
