Serape Inspired Interiors
Inspiration comes from the strangest places. En route from AMAZING The Southern C Summit back home, Lisa Mende and I stopped at a Hess Travel Plaza. We were both drawn to the 6' stack of Mexican blankets for sale for $9.99. I actually regret not getting the pretty lavender and gray one. Since then I have been dreaming of using it on a chair. Nick Olsen did it in House Beautiful.

My mother sent our daughter a bunch of serapes from Texas for a Halloween costume for her and a few friends years ago – I need to fish those out!
