Sarah Bartholomew Cape Collection for Mainly Baskets Home

I had such fun on the Insta Live Happy Hour Home Tour with ADAC today.

You can catch the full video on my story.

In other good news…I am excited to announce that the insanely chic Cape Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home is officially live on Mainly Baskets.

The collaboration includes over 15 pieces of furniture and home accessories that seamlessly blend Nashville-based interior designer Sarah Bartholomew’s classic, signature style and Mainly Baskets Home’s beloved hand-woven furnishings and accessories for the home.

A year-in-the-making-collaboration by two female business owners, the collection seamlessly blends Mainly Baskets Home’s rich-history of wicker and rattan basket making and furniture with Sarah Bartholomew’s signature design style, which also often incorporates wicker. Since the age of twelve when her mother gave her the opportunity to decorate her room and she designed it around a wicker bed, Sarah Bartholomew has been drawn to wicker. “Wicker exudes an elevated simplicity. At once, it is both casual and elegant. Two of my design icons, Hubert Givenchy and Marella Agnelli, both had a love of wicker, and initially, the collection was inspired by the classic vintage pieces I have long loved”, says Sarah. A product collaboration with Mainly Baskets Home who has been revered for their wicker pieces since 1977 was a natural fit.

Mainly Baskets Home was founded in 1977 by interior designer and antique dealer Thomas Hayes to serve as a way to design and import hand-made, unique baskets for the design community in Atlanta. In 2006, the company was acquired by Charles and Robyn Bailey. Now led by Robyn and an all-female team, Mainly Baskets Home has expanded from only baskets to include an array of hand-woven pieces for the home that are composed of sustainably-harvested raw materials. The pieces, which include furniture, baskets, lighting, and more,  integrate a mixed media of textures and materials, such as rattan, wood, metal, iron, bang Kwang, and more, and are able to be fully-customized through sizes, colors, and fabrics to meet any client’s needs. Most recently, Mainly Baskets Home launched a product collaboration with interior designer Sarah Bartholomew.

Established in 2010, Sarah Bartholomew is a Nashville-based interior designer that has completed projects across the United States, from New York and California to Alabama and Tennessee. Sarah has been nationally recognized for her signature, fresh take on classic sensibility. Known for interiors that balance beauty and function, layer color and pattern and embrace both elegance and practicality, Bartholomew creates timeless, livable spaces to call home. As an extension of her design firm, Sarah also has a brick-and-mortar store in Nashville, S.B., that offers an array of furnishing for the home, including accessories, antiques, art, upholstery, and textiles.

I cannot wait to use these pieces in my upcoming projects.
