Founded in 2012, Charlotte Lucas Interior Design is known for their signature use of bold color and whimsical details. Their work has been featured in publications like Elle Decor, Southern Living, and Garden & Gun. Owner, Charlotte Lucas, also co-owns a fabric and wallpaper company called House of Harris.

Holly Phillips – The English Room
If there’s one distinguishing characteristic about Holly Phillip’s designs, it’s color. She is the queen of color and always incorporates bright hues in interesting, fun ways. You can also expect an unexpected mix of traditional and modern styles.

This full-service design firm is based in Dilworth. Designer and owner, Mary Tobias Miller, is great at sourcing those special, hard-to-find pieces that make a room stand out. She so good at it that she also opened home furnishing store, Abode, which she fills with unique decor and accessories.

Interesting fact: Mary knows her stuff. She has been in the interior design business since 1983.

Her clients’ homes have been featured in national design publications like Traditional Home and Better Homes and Gardens.

Interesting fact: Traci has twice been named one of Charlotte’s 25 Most Stylish People.
Mixing current trends with classic style is New South Home’s design sweet spot. This full-service design firm aims to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. That means standing up to the everyday – kids and pets included. They’ve been awarded ‘Best of Houzz’ for five years running.

Project we love: Melissa recently designed UNC-Charlotte’s Delta Zeta sorority house with her design associate, Brenna Morgan, and it is incredible. Can we go back to college?

Originally started in 2009 as Evaru Design, owner Ashley DeLapp rebranded her full-service firm last year.
